Couleur D’Amour

Couleur D’Amour — a more exacting approach to haircare

I have a very particular idea of how beautiful hair should feel. Supple through the lengths. Smooth beneath the fingers. Light enough to move, with a surface that catches the light.

Years in the studio made me sensitive to those details. Formulating allows me to work towards them at a different level.

Oils have always interested me for the qualities they bring to hair: softness, richness, slip, lustre. Today, peptides and bond-supporting technologies give me further possibilities when working with coloured and fragile hair. The creative opportunity lies in how I bring them together.

An ingredient can be technically interesting, but it still has to earn its place in the finished formula. I want its contribution to make sense on the hair.

Strength with suppleness

In Couleur D’Amour Bond Repair Bond Repair, plant-derived peptides and bond-supporting technology sit within an exceptionally light leave-in treatment. The intention is to help reinforce fragile, colour-processed lengths while keeping the hair soft and fluid.

That balance matters to me. The finish should feel considered: smooth, responsive and easy to move your fingers through.

Richness, precisely judged

The same attention shapes the rest of the range.

The shampoo combines botanical extracts, peptides and natural oils in a cleanser that leaves coloured hair supple and luminous.

The two conditioners offer different expressions of care. One gives a lighter, silky finish. The intensive formula brings richer conditioning to thicker, drier or more heavily processed hair, improving slip and helping rough lengths feel polished.

Each has a purpose. The choice depends on the texture of your hair and what it needs.

Luxury is in the experience

For me, luxury is something you should be able to recognise with your eyes closed: the way a formula spreads, the ease of a brush passing through the lengths, the softness of the hair once it is dry.

It also lives in the visual result—the way the hair falls, separates and reflects light.

Couleur D’Amour Bond Repair brings my studio eye and my formulation work together. Modern technology gives me more possibilities; a very personal judgement of texture, movement and finish determines how I use them.
